Okay, I have been just plain ole' neglectful with this blog. So, I have a lot of ground to cover and about 30 minutes to do it in. But I PROMISED my friend Stef, that in honor of all she means to be and us having to say goodbye to her and the kids (they are moving to Peoria, IL) that I would post a blog today. So here it is Stef:
First lets talk about Sara's birthday. She turned 3. My deal little Sara is 3, how can that be? Hey that makes a nice little rhyme. I don't have time to rhyme - hey I did it again. Okay, on with it.
Sara requested a tinkerbell birthday cake. Well you all know my cooking passion is pretty low but I do have passion for birthday cakes. My Mom used to make a cake for me every year with pink flower and writing. So, I want the same for the girls. They have gotten a bit demanding. It started out with color requests now we have themes. Anyway, I was THRILLED with my finished product:

Sara party was awesome and she had a good time. We even had to whisper the Happy Birthday song because she doesn't like loud noises. She got some great gift including her favorite umbrella and boots:
Both girls got some new nightshirts:

Okay, now on to Disneyland:
Wow, what a GREAT time we had. AND how POoped we got!

Glad we got to meet Mickey.

The girl loved the rides (Well, not all). Pirates of the Caribbean was a bit intense. Woops! And Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, it was a bit wild for them. Oh, and the Roger Rabbit ride, and Buzzlightyear, oh and Winnie the Pooh. Yes, even Winnie the Pooh. I guess it is all kind intimidating when you are 3 and 4. Peter Pan, the Carousel, the Teacups and Dumbo were big hits. Here are a few shots to prove we were there.

Anyone with kids should do this. The look of wonder on their faces makes it all worth while. It is pure magic:

Then there were the Princesses - Oh My - I wasn't sure whether to be in awe or a bit nauseated. The girls who do this are really amazing. Here are a few:

Okay, what else? The property.
We hired someone to clear our land. It is hard to tell from these pictures that there is something to be excited about but when you are there you can envision the cabin.

The site we are thinking of is right about where the bulldozer is or that small pine tree.
We had a great day up there with the girls playing in the creek and trying to get Baloo to play in the water.
The sun same out for a wonderful weekend. We were outside for every minute of it. Boy, it sure is pretty around here when the sun shows itself.
